What’s New

Dispatch & TruckIT Portal

  • Ticket Rejection (Feature)
    What it is:
We’ve introduced a new option that allows authorized users to reject tickets directly from the web portal. Haulers, job owners, and granted access customers can reject tickets.
Why you’ll care: If the information on a paper ticket is incorrect, or an issue comes up, you can now reject the ticket with a single action. Rejected tickets remain in TruckIT for full visibility, ensuring you can reference them anytime.

  • Drivers No Longer Receive Template Creation Alerts
What it is: We improved the notification system so drivers will no longer receive alerts when a job template is created. These templates are only used for setup and planning, so they aren’t relevant to drivers’ day‑to‑day work.
Why you’ll care: This change reduces unnecessary notifications and prevents drivers from opening items that aren’t actual jobs. It keeps their workflow cleaner, clearer, and focused only on the tasks that truly require their attention.

  • Clearer Error Messages
    What it is:
We’re updating and improving error messages throughout the Web Portal so they more clearly explain what went wrong and what needs to be corrected.
Why you’ll care: Clearer guidance helps users understand issues instantly, avoid repeat mistakes, and keep the workflow running smoothly with less interruption.

  • Updated Site Rule Options for Contractors (Customization Feature)
    What it is:
We’ve improved Site rules for the customization feature that lets you create your own rules. Contractors (admins and dispatchers) will now only have view and edit access on site rules; the “Prohibited” option has been removed for them to prevent invalid rule setups.
Why you’ll care: It ensures site rules are created accurately and avoids confusion by removing options that could never apply to contractors (dispatchers).

  • Job Board Now Visible for Companies Without Trucks
What it is: We’ve updated the Job Board so it now appears even if a company has no trucks added yet. In this case, the Job Board will display a simple message letting users know that trucks need to be added before jobs can be viewed or managed.
Why you’ll care: This helps new or growing companies understand why the Job Board appears empty and guides them clearly on the next step, making the onboarding experience smoother and preventing confusion.

Suggested action: Encourage your team to explore these updates to get the most out of the improved workflows. These enhancements and new features are designed to make daily operations smoother. If your company relies on Site Rules or is just getting started with the Customization feature, be sure to review the updated options.

Mobile Apps (Driver, Contractor, Inspector)

  • Customer Signature on Delivery (Feature)
What it is: Drivers can capture customer signatures directly on their devices at the time of delivery. This ensures the signature is collected immediately and in person, right at the delivery location.
Why you’ll care: This enhancement gives you true proof of delivery, eliminates delays in gathering customer approval, and helps prevent tickets from closing without proper acknowledgment. Signatures will also be visible on the ticket for easy reference and record‑keeping.

  • New “In Transit / Delivered” Label
What it is: We updated the wording under each job to better reflect the workflow. Instead of showing “Delivered,” the tiles now read “In transit / Delivered” to match the stages that can occur after pickup.
Why you’ll care: This clearer wording gives users a more accurate view of a job’s status, reducing confusion and making it easier to understand where each load is in the process.

Suggested action: Request the Customer Signature feature if your team needs verified proof of delivery, and make sure all drivers update their mobile app to access this feature and see the updates.

Quality-of-Life Fixes

  • Issue With Hourly Job Tickets Resolved (Web Portal):
We fixed an issue where jobs subtickets showed as closed while the ticket parent remained open, causing errors in hourly jobs.

  • External Ticket Number Restored (Web Portal):
We fixed an issue where the external reference number provided by clients was not appearing on tickets after they were created and closed. This specifically affected ATP users working with sub‑tickets on hourly jobs, where the external ticket number is critical for tracking. The external reference now displays correctly across all applicable tickets.

  • Free Hauler Ticket Creation Issue (Web Portal):
We resolved a problem that prevented users from creating free tickets for haulers under certain job types. Instead of saving properly, the system displayed an error. This has now been fixed, and free tickets can be created as expected without interruption

  • Start Time Fixed (Web Portal):
Start times were not updating when a driver was still linked to a different truck than the one set in the start‑time configuration. This also prevented updating the driver while using the “Driver Start Time” message template, as it continued to pull the incorrect start time. The issue has been resolved, and start times now update correctly once the driver is assigned to the proper truck.

  • Driver Ticket Submission Error (Mobile App):
Drivers were seeing an error message while trying to submit a ticket after going back in the workflow instead of completing it in order. This prevented them from finishing the job or submitting their ticket as expected. The issue has now been fixed, and drivers can continue the process without interruption.

  • Cost Report group by Project (Web Portal):

The Cost Report didn’t display data when grouped by project, even though information existed. The report can now correctly group and display costs by project as expected.
