What’s New

Dispatch & TruckIT Portal

  • Automatic Version Check for Portal Updates.
What it is: We are implementing a versioning system that ensures users are always using the latest version of the portal. The app will periodically check (approximately every 20 minutes) against the backend to see if there is a new deployed version. If your version is outdated, you will receive a non-intrusive pop-up prompting you to refresh without interrupting your work.
Why you’ll care: This feature keeps everyone on the most up-to-date, secure, and feature-rich version of the portal, eliminating the need for manual checks or forced reloads.

  • Warning Added for Lite Ticket Linkage (Related to a Feature).
What it is: When you link a lite ticket to a job, the creation date of the ticket is updated to match the job's start date. We have added a warning message to inform you that the ticket may not appear on today’s list if the job started earlier (for example, yesterday).
Why you’ll care: This feature helps you understand what will happen before you confirm the linkage, reducing surprises and improving clarity.

  • Faster Manual Ticket Creation with Job Date Filters.
What it is: Creating manual tickets used to take time because all projects were loaded at once. To improve performance, we’ve added a job date filter to the “Create Ticket” form. This filter narrows down the data by showing only projects tied to jobs within the selected date range.
Why you’ll care: This change makes the ticket creation process much faster and more efficient, reducing wait times and improving your overall experience.

  • Improved Performance.
What it is: We have improved the loading speed of key pages across the web portal, resulting in a faster and more seamless experience.
Why you’ll care: With these enhancements, you’ll spend less time waiting and more time getting things done. Expect smoother navigation, quicker access to data-intensive areas, and an overall more responsive workflow—helping you stay productive and focused on what really matters.

  • Smarter AI Ticket Search with Multiple Conditions.
What it is: You can now combine multiple parameters—like Job Number and Truck Number—in a single search.
Why you’ll care: Search is now faster, more precise, and flexible—helping you find exactly what you need without sorting through irrelevant results.

The search now supports logical operators:
    1. AND: Use it to get results matching all conditions (e.g., both Job Number and Truck Number).
    2. OR: Use it to find results matching any condition (e.g., either Job Number or Truck Number).
Default: single-condition searches use “or” logic.

Example: To find tickets for Job #709006 and Truck #105, type: 709006 and 105.

AI Search is optional: Under the Tickets tab, you can find the toggle “AI Search” next to the search field. Turn it on to use this enhanced functionality, or off to stick with the classic search.

Suggested action: Refresh the portal when prompted, use the new date filters for manual ticket creation, try the AI search option, and read the warning messages to stay updated, work faster, and avoid surprises. Share the info with your team!
