What’s New

Dispatch & TruckIT Portal

  • Search Project by Project Number (feature)
What it is: You can now search for projects using your own project numbers. Add or edit the number in each project for easy lookup.
Why you’ll care: It’s faster and aligns with how your team already tracks work — no extra setup or guessing.

  • Linking Parent and Sub Tickets (feature)
What it is: Related parent and sub tickets now include clickable links, so you can move between them instantly.
Why you’ll care: Makes tracking linked tickets simple and accurate, no more guessing which sub belongs to which parent. This helps avoid reconciliation delays and confusion.

  • Search Tickets by Custom Fields (feature)
What it is: You can now search tickets using your existing Custom Fields.
Why you’ll care: Quickly find tickets that match your team’s own data and filters — no more digging or manual sorting.

  • Show ‘Closest Address’ for Site Coordinates (feature)
What it is: When entering site coordinates, TruckIT now displays the Closest Address instead of “Address” if an exact match isn’t available in Google Maps.
Why you’ll care: You’ll get clearer, more accurate location info, even when the exact address can’t be found.

Mobile Apps (Driver, Contractor, Inspector)

  • Sort Payload Options (Feature)
What it is: We added a button to sort project payloads alphabetically or by ID (ascending or descending).
Why it helps: Easier to organize and find payloads quickly, whether reviewing older entries or checking the latest jobs.

  • Add a Region Filter for My Tickets (Feature)
What it is: We added a region filter to “My Tickets” screen. Drivers can now view and adjust tickets based on assigned regions.
Why it helps: Fixes missing-ticket issues when switching regions, making it simple to find and manage all active jobs.

Action: Ask drivers and contractors to update to the latest TruckIT app to see these changes.

Quality-of-Life Fixes

  • Custom UoMs Missing in TicPic Reports (Web Portal): Completed quantities using custom units of measure now appear correctly — no more missing data.

  • Ticket Details Showing Incorrect Rate/Total (Web Portal): We added a new Hauler Total field and renamed “Driver Rate” to Driver Total for clarity and consistency.

  • Custom Fields Sorting (Web Portal): Custom fields now display alphabetically, making them easier to scan and locate.

  • Restricted Customers User Setup (Web Portal): The Restricted Customers no longer need to select a region when creating or editing a user — simplifies setup.

  • Submit Button for Manual Tickets (Mobile App): We fixed an issue preventing the submission of manual tickets — users can now create tickets without interruption.

  • Granted Access Projects in Dispatch (Mobile App): Projects shared via “Grant Access” are now visible and ready for dispatch directly from the mobile app.

Take a minute to explore the new search and ticket linking features in the Web Portal. These are built to save your time and cut down on confusion during reconciliation and reporting.

  • Recommendation:
Start using Custom Fields more actively — they’re now fully searchable and easier to manage than ever.
