In this video, we'll walk you through how to use the Dashboard in the TruckIT portal.
When you first log into the truck it portal, the dashboard is your default page. We like to think of it as your 30,000-foot view of everything you've got going on in our system.
At the top of the dashboard, you'll see the date whether for your area as well as information about the jobs you have running today. You'll find how many jobs are active, how many jobs are pending, and how many tickets have been created thus far. You can also dig a little bit deeper and view how many of those tickets are open or closed, what type of tickets they are, as well as the time tonnage and load numbers for the day.
Next, we have the live map. Here you'll be able to see any truck running on your jobs. They are color-coded to let you know their status. Green trucks are heading to a pickup site. Red trucks are heading to a drop-off, and orange trucks are either offline or haven't started a job yet.
If you hover over a truck, you'll have access to the truck number, driver name, driver phone number, and the job number they're working on.
The notification feed to the right of the live map lets you know when jobs are created, when trucks have entered or exited alert zones, or when tickets have been opened or closed. You can filter down the notifications based on truck events, ticket events, job events, or message events.
You can also search for specific trucks or jobs using the search bar. Underneath the live map, you have a list of all the trucks running on your jobs for the day. You'll see the truck name, their current job where they're in route to, as well as their ETA to get there.
If you click on one of the trucks, the live map will center on their location. You'll also notice when you click on the truck that the column to the right changes as well to show you a list of jobs for that selected truck.
Please make sure to check out all of our other tutorial videos and thanks for using TruckIT.
