In this video, we'll be discussing regions, how to create them, and how to use them.
Regions can be quite helpful if you're covering a large geographic area, or if you need to organize your fleet into groups for any reason.
To create a region, simply navigate to the My Company Tab. Click Settings and choose Regions from the bottom of the left menu. Click Add New Region to open the Create Region Dialogue box, simply give your region a name and assign the coordinates.
You can type in coordinates manually, or you can simply drop a pin. When you drop a pin on the map, the coordinates will be filled in for you automatically. Once your region-to-region has been established, go ahead and click Save.
You will now be able to assign trucks to your regions. To do this, simply navigate to the My Fleet tab. On your list of trucks, select the truck and click the three dots under the other actions column. Here you'll see a sign region. Simply select your region from the list and click Save. That truck is now associated with a region.
When dispatching trucks, you now can select trucks and filter them based on region. Once they've been filtered, only the trucks associated with that region will be available.
You can also search for jobs by region. On the My Jobs page, simply filter by region. You can also assign a particular user to a region. This is done in the same manner as assigning trucks. Simply click My Company, then My Team, choose the user, and assign a region. Now, when that user logs in, fields will be filtered by their corresponding region by default.
